Hyatt Regency Amritsar Hotel & Spa

We had a very good stay for one night.

The room was extremely pleasant and new-fashioned, with an extra bed as well as dressing table, slept really well. The location was secure, next to Mall of Amritsar.

It was exactly what we were looking for.

We thoroughly enjoyed it and would consider staying here again. The hotel was nicely presented and well-maintained in general, had professional staff in all areas. Location: the property was near to mall, the temple and Jalianwala bagh and major attractions. Also, it was placed just 1 km from Jockey Exclusive Store.

Generally OK but the previous good reviews I feel were very kind

The first issue was checking in. We patiently waited our turn thinking that more desk staff would felieve the chaos. When we finally reached the front of the queue, the agent took three seperate phone calls while we were trying to check in. Later, we wanted to get to the border closing ceremony at 5.30. At 4pm we were told that the taxi would be 20 minutes. Why? I have no idea, a large hotel usually cuts a much greater say with local taxis and can deliver one almost instantly. It finally took 35 minutes to come and we just made the ceremony after the driver emulated Lewis Hamilton on the way and we ran the final quarter mile in 35 degree heat. The minibar had no Gin or Whisky and they were not listed on the price listed so there was no intention of providing two of the most popular drinks in the world. Finally the coffee was awful. A latte is not a frothy Nescafe so do not call it that. Not a decent cup to be had in the place. Altogether very average.

Great Business Stay at Hyatt Regency Amritsar

The outdoor swimming pool was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day, and I made good use of the well-equipped gym. The biggest highlight for me was the Shanti Spa, where I indulged in a revitalizing massage that helped me de-stress. The staff were welcoming, and they prioritized making my stay comfortable. I also appreciated the cleanliness of my room, which was promptly addressed when I had minor requests.

Bathroom had an unpleasant odor.

Nice comfortable hotel with all amenities. Gorgeous spa from Ananda, great restaurants. Also have a luxurious pool and gym. rooms are a tad small but no big issues there.

They botched up our airport pickup which was a big letdown from the start but the hotel and service more than made up for it.

The rooms are new-fashioned and outstanding here with an extra bed, dressing table. The price is usd 5033. The location is good and ideal, at a short distance from Mall of Amritsar.

The epitome of luxury! I was welcomed by attentive staff. My room was not only immaculate but provided fine views. The culinary offerings were good, with every meal exceeding my expectations. A heartfelt thanks to the very nice team for making my stay really good!

Bad Staff attitude Lake of facilities

Perfect good central place with great and brilliant location near the Golden Temple, and the mall and shopping. Compact and exceptionally nice room with dressing table, three beds, the TV, and smoke detectors too for guests' safety.

Can recommend for a weekend

Comfortable room, helpful staff, the shower was very good, and enjoyed the outdoor swimming pool facilities. Plus, the location near the shopping mall offers great convenience for food and shopping.

Nothing all good.

The hotel staff are really kind and and helpful. Nothing you ask for is a problem. We requested moving rooms just because we wanted to be next to our friends and they obliged without any hesitation and when we misplaced our mobile phone the manager assured us it will be sorted and sure enough it was found ,even though it was our fault.loved the hotel and staff. Thank you and we sure will be coming back !!

The food was good

Slow service, not working key cards, small rooms

They served us limited food after 11:30 i.e. beyond their last order time.

No internet facility in rooms. One has to go down to the lobby area and use internet with additional payment. No staff for taking luggage to the rooms and we had to carry all the luggage ourselves.

Clean nice rooms.

Very poor value for money. We were ripped off many times by the hotel, whether it be taxis or spa treatments. They did not just charge a premium; they charged us 3 or 4 times the going rate. Some staff had a bit of a bad attitude. For example, reception staff being a bit impatient and rolling their eyes etc. we are not at all difficult people, and we never normally have problems. For the money being paid we are entitled to expect service which is ALWAYS friendly and helpful. Cleanliness in the dining room was poor. We sat down to a table with a dirty table cloth. A few times napkins were stained. A few times we had to send back cups and or plates be taste they were not clean.

Super comfy stay with great service

The room was cozy and clean, and the staff were super friendly, especially at the restaurant! They were always there when you needed anything, awesome! Dinner was tasty, but the menu felt a bit limited for such a long stay. The checkout process could've been smoother.
